Thank you to everyone that participated in this project and made it such a success.
Tax season is now over, and that means millions of Americans we be receiving refunds
and – in a few months – economic stimulus checks. Remember to celebrate taxes while
you are spending your money!
We are happy to announce that earlier this morning Stan Ciemiecki was randomly selected
as the winner of our contest. His answer to his favorite thing about tax season
was: “After the taxes are done and submitted it is like the feeling after exams
and you know you aced them.”
Welcome to 12 Days Of Taxes, a new project sponsored by the Roni Deutch Tax Center™.
Every year millions of Americans dread the days leading up to tax season. But this
year the employees of the Roni Deutch Tax Center™ are encouraging everyone to celebrate
tax season! Be sure to click the links above every day to watch our celebration
videos and read our informative articles.
But many of you may be wondering, “why should I celebrate tax season?” According
to IRS statistics, in 2004 over 77% of income tax filers received a federal refund
and the average refund amount was over $2,000. Additionally, this tax season we
have something extra to celebrate. By filing a federal tax return you are also putting
your name on the list to get an economic stimulus check.
Even if you are not eligible for a tax refund this year, the Roni Deutch Tax Center™
still wants you to celebrate. We have put together a contest where all you have
to do is share with us your favorite part of tax season. Simply enter your information
into one of our contest entry forms and you will automatically be entered into our
random drawing. Then, on April 16th one winner will be rewarded with $500 in gift
cards. For more information on the contest please check out our rules and regulations.
So sit back, relax, watch our videos, read our interesting articles, and spread
the word to celebrate tax season 2008 with the 12 Days Of Taxes!
